A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Yvette Craig, a fantastic photographer I had met at a few weddings, to do the make-up for a ‘Love the Dress’ photo shoot she had planned at Lympne Castle. I was thrilled to be involved and finally get the opportunity to work together on this shoot at one of my favourite wedding venues.
I arrived at the Lympne Castle and met Hannah, the Bride for the shoot, accompanied by Pete her husband of just one year and her bridesmaids. For Hannah’s make-up I created a flawess base using lancome tient idole foundation which I set with Estee Lauders double wear mineral power with a sweep of Clinique blush for a feminine glow. I emphasized Hannah’s eyes using Chanel’s eyeshadow duo in misty soft and some natural false lashes finishing with a sweep of lipgloss to compliment the look. I then applied the make-up for Hannah’s eldest bridesmaid choosing colours from Dior’s rosy tan eyeshadow set that went well with the dress.
The shoot went really well, despite the weather, with the wonderful Becky from Lympne Castle on hand to ensure that we were able to access all areas! Yvette was also lucky enough to have some flowers provided to us by Christine’s Flowers.
Here are a few of the photographs from the shoot.
