Yesterday I had the pleasure of working on another amazing shoot with Alan Langley from Dover Design Photography at Court Stairs Manor in Pegwell Bay. Together we had planned a bridal fashion shoot with the aim of achieving some contemporary, chic bridal fashion promotional images for the whole team involved.
The Bridal Fashion Shoot Team
Photography
Alan and Thomas Langley who are Dover Design Photography (assisted by Amy Johnson) took the outstanding photos for the shoot. The team are fantastic to work with and genuinely lovely people who have a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and produce outstanding, creative images – They know exactly what works! You can see why this great father and son duo has such an excellent reputation when you see the brilliant work they produce!
Choosing a wedding photographer for your big day that you trust to capture such a precious time in your life is a huge decision, but you can be completely confident you will get the photos you dream of with Dover Design Photography.
Wedding Dresses
We were spoilt for choice when Jenni Sutton from Country Brides of Faversham (Dover Branch) arrived with an array of dresses from her shop in 54 Castle Street,Dover. Armed with accessories, shoes and essential equipment, Jenni was on hand to fit all the models into their dresses and to ensure the day went smoothly. If you are looking for that dream wedding dress or beautiful prom gown for that special event I can definitely recommend visiting the huge Dover store where you will definitely have a great experience.
We were also lucky enough to use a stunning, contemporary mini dress, beautiful veil and some shoes to die for supplied by the ladies at Bridal Way, a beautiful wedding dress shop at 25 West Cliff Road, Ramsgate. Keeley and her team are incredibly friendly, helpful and come highly recommended… Bridal Way was the fist wedding dress shop I visit after getting engaged and was made to feel like a VIP!
Hair
Elise Bull, a fantastic hair stylist from Medway, created all the styles for the three models at the shoot. I met Elise at a wedding over a year and a half ago and have worked on numerous weddings and photo shoots since. Elise is a really creative and a lovely person who knows exactly what works and what suits the person, theme and style of the shoot. With excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm for what she does, Elise is very talented and highly recommended!
Elise will be joining me to assist on my stand at the Kent showground wedding show in May this year; we look forward to meeting lots of brides-to-be and discussing your requirements.
Headwear / Tiaras
The breathtaking headwear pieces featured are handmade and designed by Maureen Speed from Crowned in Crystal. I have never seen anything like these before; the designs are so unique, classy and sparkle from every angle.
If you are looking for a unique masterpiece for your special day or upcoming event contact Maureen today who will be happy to discuss your bespoke requirements. A lovely lady with outstanding creations!
Models
The stunning models for the shoot were Stacey Etherington, Laura Worrell and Becky Showell who were absolutely fantastic. Having not done anything quite like this before they took it all in their stride and really worked the dresses! Bringing some great ideas to the shoot, the ladies were a brilliant and a fun group to work with. I think they thoroughly enjoyed being dressed like princesses for the day too!
